For The Alps
For the Alps is a captivating showcase of the Alpine region. It presents breathtaking landscapes, centuries-old traditions, and innovative solutions to protect Alpine parks. Furthermore, it explores ways to preserve these ecosystems for future generations.
More than a visual tour, For the Alps highlights a wide range of activities. It also raises questions for anyone who interacts with the Alps—residents, visitors, or adventurous explorers. Additionally, the production is available in five languages, reaching an international audience and encouraging global dialogue about conservation and sustainability.
Through an artistic lens, For the Alps provides an eyewitness account that sparks conversations between park managers, stakeholders, and visitors. As a result, it inspires viewers with a sense of joie de vivre.
Alex Rowbotham, as project producer, director, and programmer, also shaped the original concept. He ensured the project stayed authentic and impactful. The multivision production features nearly 400 original photographs, mostly taken by Alpine park staff, offering a personal view of the region.
In addition, this was projected at two pavilions during the Milan Expo. It also reached audiences through a DVD release, available for giveaways and sale, letting people enjoy the Alpine landscapes, traditions, and conservation efforts at home.
