Permanent Outdoor Installation in Cagliari, Sardinia
Lampadas is a permanent outdoor installation in Cagliari’s castle square. Visitors explore the city’s oldest district. In addition, they see the city through the eyes of a local writer.
The story mixes the writer’s view with a character from his novel. Specifically, this character faced execution at the stake in Madrid. He calls out for the love of his distant ward. As a result, Lampadas helps visitors understand Cagliari’s history and culture.
Alex programmed Dataton Watchout and led the design, artwork, and art direction. Meanwhile, Aldo DiRusso acted as Producer and Video Director and Marcello Mazzini was the videographer. At the same time, Romeo Scaccia composed the soundtrack and Mauro Scaramella created visual effects. The agency supplied other media assets.
